Hello, and thank you for visiting the Sylvan Designs website.

I started dressmaking as a teenager, making my own patterns and subsequent 'creations'. I then went on to make soft furnishings as an adult for the many homes that we renovated and built over the years. This love of textiles and design led me to complete a Diploma in Curtain Making &  Soft Furnishings and then establish my own soft furnishings business.

As a sole trader, I ensure that every client receives my personal attention, from brainstorming initial ideas to selecting fabrics and installing the final window treatment. All curtains and blinds are handcrafted using traditional, professional techniques, guaranteeing a level of detail and quality that off-the-shelf options simply cannot provide.
